In this month's newsletter I will talk about what busines people should be focusing on this time of year. Marketing Mavens are fine-tuning their marketing plans and preparing for a profitable year. After the mission statement, budget, and SWOT analysis are complete, it is time to plan your marketing calendar. It is important to rememebr that 'one and done' will not work! Touch points throughout the year are critical. Regardless of budget, there should be a mix of many different strategies.
Below is a list of some of the things that we do at The Perfect Promotion:
Newsletters: A low-cost way to establish yourself as an expert in your field. All it takes is a little time and energy once a month
Promotional Products: At approximately $0.04 per impression, they give a client or prospect a free gift that they actually want to receive. It is the only advertising medium that people like to receive
Personal notes, cards, and phone calls
E-mail blasts
Events: Host an event that represents your brand
Speaking opportunities: Again, make sure the talk is in alignment with your brand
Sponsorships: Support organizations that you really care about and market your company at the same time - I call this a Win-Win-Win
Exhibit at trade shows - But make sure to promote before, during and after the show!
Imprinted apparel: What is better than a walking billboard that others will wear and advertise for you? Make sure it is something people will want to wear.
Direct mail - But not a letter in a #10 envelope please. Make it something that people WANT to open.
I hope this list has inspired you. I love this time of year. It is when we know that all things are possible. Market smart, stay top of mind to your clients and prospects so when the need for your services arise, YOU are the first one called.
Happy Marketing!
